Arts on Main in Gloucester is expanding its gallery space. The area formerly occupied by Angelwing Stationers will become the new Main Street Gallery, and it will be connected to the current gallery space.
The expansion is possible because of a grant from the Main Street Preservation Trust, said a press release, and it comes after the generosity of community partners and a loan from Chesapeake Bank enabled Arts on Main to purchase its building in January and create a permanent home on Main Street.
“In difficult times it can seem impossible to imagine a vibrant future,” said the release. “Arts on Main is grateful to the Main Street Preservation Trust and other generous donors for making the impossible happen.”
