Arts on Main in Gloucester is continuing its Creative Exchange program with the Bay School Community Arts Center in Mathews throughout August. In the program, artists who regularly show at Arts on Main and the Bay School trade places.

A reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the gallery, located at 6580 Main Street.

Live music will be provided by Kate Stedelbauer, a Virginia-based singer/songwriter. Her musical influences include Joni Mitchell, John Prine, Margo Price, and other artists and songwriters in the Americana, country and folk traditions, said a press release.

First Fridays are free and open to the public. Beer, wine and paninis will be available for purchase.
