Palette Pals reception next week

A reception for the Palette Pals exhibit will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7 at Arts on Main in Gloucester.

The exhibit consists of art created by Gloucester kindergarten and first grade students from every Gloucester school who participated in Palette Pals, Arts on Main’s signature educational program.

People’s Choice Awards will be given to the student from each school who receives the most votes from members of the public. Votes may be cast at the gallery from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

Bayside Youth Ballet to hold auditions

Bayside Youth Ballet will hold auditions for membership from 4:30-6 p.m. on Friday, June 9 at the Diggs School of Dance in Edgehill Shopping Center, Gloucester.

Dancers must be at least 9 years of age, with previous training in classical ballet. All dancers, regardless of their studio affiliation, are invited to participate.
