A call for artists has been issued for Art at the River, a juried art show to be held on Sunday, May 8, at Riverwalk Landing in Yorktown.

Applications for the all-day show are due no later than Feb. 1, said a press release.

Original works in a wide range of media—painting, clay, glass, fiber, basketry, leather, wood, graphics, photography, musical instruments, and mixed media—will be accepted. Items must be conceived and executed solely by the exhibiting artist, and all work must be for sale during the show, with the artist present.

The application fee is $25. Invitations to participate in the show will be issued on Monday, March 14.
