Artisan Markets kick off this weekend

The Bay School is holding three back-to-back Artisan Markets in the coming weeks, two in conjunction with this year’s Made in Mathews Open Studio Tour, which is divided into two weekends.

This weekend kicks off The Made in Mathews Studio Tour, which will be held Nov. 27-28, while the second weekend will be Dec. 5-6.

The Made in Mathews market will have three inside vendors and five outside vendors, with Clay by the Bay set up in the pottery studio. Vendors include potter Carolyn August, silver and gemstone jewelry artists Jim and Linda Harrison, Whisky Bottle Art artist Rita Cutler, photo artist Tammy Faulkner, potters Doris Hackworth and Clay by the Bay, folk artist Virginia Coyle with hand-painted ornaments, Pat Andrews with metal sculptures, and Marilou McCrosky with her oyster jewelry.
