Arthur Walker, 80, of Gloucester, passed on Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, at the Riverside Regional Medical Center Pavilion, Newport News. He was the son of the late Arthur and Bessie Walker of Gloucester.

He is survived by his son, Perry Allen Walker; daughter, Wilma Barner of Baltimore, Maryland; two sisters, Ruby Whiting of Gloucester,  and Mary Elsie Walker of Baltimore; brother, Walter Roger Walker (Augustine) of Gloucester; grandson, Wayne Williams of Baltimore; four great-grandchildren, Josia Johnson, Samai, Summer and Vance Williams, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.          

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, in Zion Poplars Baptist Church, 7000 T.C. Walker Road, Gloucester.  Mr. Walker will lie in state from 10 o’clock until service.
