Arthur Peter Koeppen died at the age of 86 on Dec. 14, 2015.

He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was a recent resident of Hayes. Mr. Koeppen retired from distribution sales with Best Foods International (S. B. Thomas). He was a devoted husband, loving father and a mentor to his grandson.  

His son Stephen preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, June Anne Koeppen; son, Michael Koeppen and wife Kim; grandson, Matthew Koeppen and wife Kate, and two great-grandsons.

A service of Christian Liturgy conducted by the Rev. James Cowles was held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment followed in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery.
