Arts on Main will open its annual holiday exhibition, “Artful Giving,” at its First Friday event from 6-8 p.m. on Dec. 6 at the Gloucester Court House gallery.

The show consists of hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind pieces of art by local artists that are perfect for gift-giving, said a press release. Paintings, sculptures, jewelry, ceramics, glass and more will be on display and available for purchase.

Live music will be provided by Rob Oliver, an instrumentalist, vocalist and songwriter who specializes in guitar and harmonica in styles varying from classic rock to rhythm and blues and everything in between, said the release. He currently plays all over Hampton Roads and beyond, either solo or as an accompanist in different bands. He is in the final stages of recording his debut album, which will be available on all music platforms in early 2020, said the release. He will be performing select songs from the album as well as some of his favorite cover songs.
