Thomas Hunter Middle School students and teachers displayed some of the extras beyond the basics of Reading, Writing and Arithmetic last Thursday night, as the school held its “Art of Living” exhibition, showcasing all of the elective course offerings and student work completed by the middle school students. Programs included a pickleball activity in the gym, Jason Williams’s technology students demonstrating their robotics and other designs, a display of student photography, a buffet of fruit, vegetable, meat and cheese and dessert trays prepared by Michelle Williams’s Family and Consumer Science students, as well as some of the FCCLA award-winning projects. Here, art teacher Katie Witowski helps with a make-and-take activity in the art room for guests.
