Art Festival winners to be showcased in First Friday reception

Works by artists Daniel Robbins and John Brandon Sills, winners of the 2021 Gloucester Arts Festival, will be showcased during First Friday at Arts on Main, from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, at the gallery on Main Street in Gloucester. Their art will be on display through Saturday, Nov. 26.

Live music will be provided by singer-songwriter Micah Foxx, who is known for his work in the folk, jam band, and acoustic pop genres. He has performed solo and with his band in such venues as The Sandler Center, The National, and Union Stage.

The event is free and open to the public. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

About the artists

Robbins, a Virginia Beach native who now lives in Richmond, earned a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2006.
