ARRL Field Day

The Middle Peninsula Amateur Radio Club participated in the annual American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Field Day from Abingdon Park Pavilion over the weekend. More than 300 radio contacts were made on both phone and the classic traditional ham radio mode from all over the United States and Canada. A potluck supper and fine weather were two of the highlights of the weekend event along with visits from an out-of-state ham and local officials, a release said.
