Former Gloucester High School softball standout and 2016 graduate Kaleigh Arnett has been named Small College Sports Report softball player for the week for Bryant and Stratton College. 

Arnett went four-for-four against crosstown rival Stratford University in B&S’s 7-5 victory last week. Arnett helped finish the sweep with another multiple hit game, going two-for-six. 

Arnett, a sophomore, has split time this year between second base and catcher. Last year, during B&S’s inaugural softball season, Arnett was named to the All-Region X team.

Arnett’s three seasons at GHS included two All Conference selections and two trips to the Eastern Region playoffs.  ...
