Arlene “Grandma” Dodd, 80, of Gloucester, Virginia, passed away at her home on Saturday, August 20, 2016.

She was of the Baptist faith, and was born in Greensboro, North Carolina.

She is survived by her husband, Harold E. Dodd; her children, Lou Ann Harris, Terri Russell, and Darrell Harris Jr.; her grandchildren, Wendy Chambers, Marshall Crabtree, Leah Taylor, Amber Ross, Kyle Harris, Katelin Middleton, Bailey Harris, Patricia Glass, Kristie Russell, Freddy Russell Jr. and Melissa Russell; many great-grandchildren, and a very special friend, Lolly Dake.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel by the Rev. Richard Ford.
