Twenty-one students from Mathews High School and Thomas Hunter Middle School traveled to Westmoreland High School last weekend to play in the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula Area Band. The students participated in 10 hours of rehearsal over two days, directed by Chris Moseley and Christopher Lair, before playing concerts on Saturday afternoon. The students qualified for the band in February auditions.
