The Gloucester County School Board made three appointments during its Dec. 8 meeting. Appointed to support services positions were Justin Ashberry of Mathews, Robert Miller of Dutton, and Delany Timberlake of Gloucester.Resignations were received from Gloucester High School English teacher Leigh Ann Purnell, effective Nov. 24, and support services employees Jessica Warren, effective Nov. 17, and Myriam Inman, effective Dec. 31. Retirement was approved for support services employee Sharon Smith, effective Nov. 1.
Among coaching positions paid by supplement, resignations were accepted GHS assistant varsity girls’ basketball coach Alexis Burrell, effective Nov. 19, GHS varsity boys’ volleyball coach Richard Estlack, effective Nov. 12, GHS assistant boys’ soccer coach Peter Lebel, Page Middle School boys’ basketball coach Jason Williams and Page cheerleaders sponsor Emily Fenstermacher.
