Application process begins for 2020 round of small business grants

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors, Economic Development Authority, and Economic Development staff are inviting independent businesses in Gloucester to apply for the Fiscal Year 2020 Small Business Incentive Program.

This program is funded jointly by the board of supervisors and the EDA to promote and encourage small business recruitment and retention.

According to a release, grants are available for property improvements (projects including new floors, ceiling tiles, windows, doors, and painting); façade improvements (exterior work, new signage, and landscaping); advertising and marketing; and website design or e-commerce upgrades. 

In fiscal year 2019, 27 grants were awarded to local businesses, according to the release.
