Another easy outing for GHS field hockey

It was another easy outing for the Gloucester High School varsity field hockey team on Tuesday as the Dukes traveled to Heritage and won, 17-0.

Freshman Channy Johnson led scoring with four goals, Hannah Hamay had three and Cara O’Beirne added two. GHS also got goals from Meg Teagle, Christina Riva, Allison Goodwin, Kylie Frush, H.P. Frush, Ella Poulson, Anna Owens and Alexis Adams. 

Aubree Dorsey and Frush led scoring assists, with three and two, respectively.

Gloucester is scheduled to host Jamestown today and travel to the Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach to meet Washington and Lee on Saturday. The Dukes return home Tuesday to take on Menchville. ...
