This weekend will bring another three days full of holiday events for those of all ages. Though most of this weekend’s activities will be in Mathews, Santa Claus will also make several appearances in Gloucester Saturday and Sunday.
Things will kick off Friday afternoon with Santa Claus visiting the Mathews County Visitor and Information Center from 4-7 p.m. He will be found on the porch of the center and available for photos with children. Parents are asked to bring their own cameras to take photos of the children.
Saturday is parade day in Mathews with the annual procession’s theme, “Making Christmas Memories.” The parade will step off at 1 p.m. from Thomas Hunter Middle School and will travel to the Bank of America building.
