Ann’s Family Diner relocates from Glenns to Gloucester

Ann’s Family Diner, a landmark at Glenns for more than 20 years, has found a new home more centrally located in Gloucester. The new site is in Shops at Gloucester on Route 17 south of Gloucester C.H.

Chef Justin Hollandsworth said he has owned the restaurant for about five years. His wife Laura, the breakfast cook, is also an owner. They have a staff of eight.

Hollandsworth said they have retained the favorite menu items from the old location and are making some changes as they go along. For example, because the new site is near steady traffic from businesses and professional offices, Hollandsworth is planning some quick meals such as a soup and salad bar to make it easy to get in and out in a half hour.

Since prime rib has long been a favorite at Ann’s, Hollandsworth said he now plans to have it available on more nights. He plans specials for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
