Anna Oliver Richardson, 79, of Gloucester, Va., passed away on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013.

She was born in Mathews County, and was the daughter of the late James Wilton and Belva Rose Oliver. She was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church, and had retired from Eastern State Hospital with 25 years’ service.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Arthur Lee Oliver, Wrayfield Oliver, and Nettie Oliver West.

She is survived by her husband, John Richardson; her children, Hattie D. Reed and her husband Jimmy, William “Billy” Dunston Jr. and his wife Kaja, Bland Dunston, and Buddy Dunston and his wife Angie; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private.
