Anita Louise Smith, age 77, of Mathews, died on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Mathews Riverside Convalescent Center. Anita was born on February 6, 1946 to the late Kenneth and Dorothy Richerson Wallace. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jessica. Anita is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Schauer and Lisa Harrington; grandchildren, Kenny, Heather, Timothy, Anthony, Vicky, Daniel, Isaac; four great-grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Nelms; three nieces, and several great-nieces. Services are private and under the direction of Hogg Funeral Home & Crematory.
