The annual Animal Jam fundraiser will be held from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5, at The Seafood Shack, 10744 Buckley Hall Road, Mathews. The cover charge is $10 and a donation of pet supplies/pet food. All donations will support the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society.

Participants are encouraged to bring their instruments to take part in the open mic community jam, as well as enjoy seafood/tacos and more. People are also encouraged to stop by to see K9 Karma from the Mathews County Sheriff’s Office.
