Gloucester Library hosted members of the Alliance of Wild Animal Rehabilitators and Educators (AWARE) on Oct. 15 at the Main Street Center location. Deb Woodward (left) and Colleen Harlow presented a class about the behaviors, diets and habitats of local wildlife. They brought several animal ambassadors with them, including “Goliath” the snapping turtle, “Woody” the pileated woodpecker, “Savannah” the opossum (pictured) and “Hershey” the barred owl (pictured).
