Two speckled trout catches have recently won citations for local anglers in the Virginia Saltwater Fishing Tournament.G. Ray Newsome of Cobbs Creek received a citation for a 25-inch speckled trout he caught and released Nov. 10 in the Piankatank River.
Herbert Haywood of Dutton won a citation for a 6-pound, 4-ounce speck caught on Nov. 8 in Mobjack Bay.Also, Andrew Damour of Hayes has received a citation for a 12-pound, 2-ounce sheepshead caught on Oct. 18 in the Poquoson River.
