Angelwing moves to another Main Street location

Angelwing Stationers recently relocated to new quarters on Main Street, Gloucester.

Owner LuAnn Nagel said she lost her lease at her former location on Main Street and, undaunted, was able to find space to rent several blocks away adjacent to Gloucester Arts on Main.

The new store is slightly smaller than the old location, Nagel said, but she finds the 16-foot high ceiling is an attraction, along with woodwork that is "really charming."

Nagel said her main business does custom invitations, admitting it was difficult to move during her busy season with graduations and wedding showers. Also, she sells lots of fine stationery, Caspari napkins and tableware, cards and gifts.
The walls are filled with local artists’ works, which Nagel sells. Many of them displayed their works at Village Art Gallery, the building’s former tenant.
