Andrew Stephen “Skip” Sarosy Jr., 78, of Mathews, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021. He was the Owner/Operator of Skips Marina, Inc. He was a member of the Church of Francis de Sales in Mathews. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He taught them all how to fish and his love of the water was passed down to them.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Sarosy; a son, Andrew Stephen Sarosy III; a daughter, Diane Sarosy Wilson (Dale); grandchildren, Melissa and Bob Wilson; and great-grandchildren, Allie Wilson and Jaxon Hizer; brothers, Jim Sarosy (April), Edward Sarosy (Kathleen); sisters, Catherine Scherer (Michael) and Mary O’Leary.

He will be buried in Long Island, N.Y. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, is assisting the family.
