A “Homegoing” service for Andrew Joseph Dudley of Gloucester, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at the First United Baptist Church, Gloucester. He died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014.

Mr. Dudley was born Nov. 11, 1934 in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., to the late John Dudley and Viola Mae Dudley Barbour. He was employed as a correctional officer for the Philadelphia prison system for 23 years where he retired. He was a member of the First United Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Esther Dudley; two daughters, Bridget Dudley and Doreen McKnight; two brothers, Warren Dudley and Myers Dudley; two sisters, Estelle Gilliam and Gloria Alexander, and two grandchildren.

The viewing will begin at noon Saturday, an hour before the service.
