Buzzards visited Gloucester Monday, spending the day on a rooftop along Glass Road with their wings extended.
When the photographer, Linda Tjossem, first noticed them, they were perched on top of an old house. She took a quick picture with her iPhone. When she returned an hour later, they were still camped out there, so (since they were apparently waiting for their portraits to be taken) she took their photos again, this time with her real camera.
“I have no clue why they were perched with their wings spread,” said Tjossem. “Maybe they’ll come back for Halloween.” ...
