“An Artist’s Journey,” a show focusing on the student artist, will open with a reception from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Bay School Community Arts Center on Main Street, Mathews. Light refreshments will be served.

Participating artists in this annual show have all taken a Bay School class “somewhere along their creative journey,” said a press release, and participants are anxious to show off their creations.

Artwork ranging from paintings and pottery to fiber arts and jewelry will be on display from June 4-21, said the release.“This show is also a great opportunity to learn about all of the wonderful classes offered at the Bay School for all skill levels and ages,” said the release.
