The popular Ambrosia Quartet will launch the autumn season at Mathews Memorial Library with a concert at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, at the library on Main Street in Mathews. The performance will feature Beverly Kane Baker, viola; Rebecca Gilmore, cello; Mayu Cipriano, violin; and Simon Lapointe, violin. Members will present a lively concert that includes a variety of musical styles and periods, said a press release. Admission is free. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Mathews Library.
