Alton E. Cullen Jr., 100, of Gloucester, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2016.

He had worked as a drafter at Newport News Shipbuilding. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret M. Cullen. Mr. Cullen loved to fish and was an avid Redskins fan. Living for a century he had witnessed many, many changes in the world during his long life span. He will be missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Janet Black; grandchildren, Jennifer Frazier and David J. Deas (Mary); great-grandchildren, Austin and Alexis Frazier, Alex Deas, Colleen Deas, Jessica Deas and Jordan Deas.

Services will be private.
