Christchurch School student Kris Barnum of Gloucester received second team All-State honors as a member of the Seahorses’ lacrosse team. The CCS boys’ lacrosse team finished its season ranked #1 in the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division II, defeating Hampton Roads Academy in the state quarterfinals and Trinity Christian in the semifinals before hosting the state championship with a loss to North Cross School of Roanoke. Barnum is the son of Fred and Jamie Barnum of Gloucester.
