The pandemic changed everything in the blink of an eye. While not major in the scheme of things, high school students in the two counties missed out on a rite of passage, the spring formal. Many had already made plans and got their outfits ready for the big day. Among those all dressed up with no place to go are, pictured top from left, Avery Betz and Jackson Putt and Kylie Berry, who had plans to attend this year’s Mathews High School Prom and, bottom from left, Gloucester High School students Cameron Heath and Bailey Moore, who had hoped to attend the Gloucester High School Prom and Ring Dance.
