On May 22, 2017, while in the comfort of her home, Alice Geneva Waller of Saluda, was called home to be with the Lord.

She was born on Sept. 9, 1948 to the late Daniel and Thelma Green. She was a faithful member of The Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ According to the Apostles Doctrine, Inc. She was a sweet, God-fearing, and lovable woman during her lifetime.

Those left to cherish her precious memories are husband, James Waller Sr.; eight children, Margaret, Veronica, James Jr. (Janie), Tamika (Dwayne), JaLisa, Tabitha, Jessica (Sean), Stephen; 11 siblings, William L. Green, Therman Green (Ella Mae), Beatrice Dixon, Sherwood Green Sr. (Sharon), Irene Green, Virgil Green (Alice), Denise Dabney, Melvin Green, Connie Green Cook, Delma Green, Daniel S. Green, and 10 grandchildren.

Viewing was held from 5-6 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017 at J.K. Redmond Funeral Home, Shacklefords, and family members received friends from 6-8. 

A burial service was held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 26 in Morning Glory Baptist Church, Gloucester.
