Albert Eugene Surrett, age 59, of Hayes, was born on April 13, 1959 in Asheville, North Carolina. He died on Jan. 17, 2019 in Hampton. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Guy G. Surrett; mother, Mary A. Surrett, and daughter, Jody Surrett. 

He is survived by sister, Carol Fisher; nieces, Jamie L. and Kristina L. Burton; great-nephew, Kayden J. Burton; sons, Jeremy, Justin, and Joseph Surrett; daughter, Jina Surrett, and three grandchildren.
