The Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck chapter of the Virginia Aeronautical Historical Society will host its monthly luncheon presentation at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, at the Pilot House restaurant, Topping.
The public is invited to join the group for a live presentation by aviator and Mathews County resident Al Carpenter. Carpenter has spent a lifetime in military and civilian flight (including 2,315 days as a POW in Vietnam) and he will share his compelling story at the luncheon.
The chapter continues to meet on the third Thursday of each month at 11:30 a.m. for lunch and a presentation of informative aviation programs. Everyone interested in aviation is invited to join the members.
