Air Force jet pilot to address luncheon in Topping

Toivo “Tee” Mans, who served as a F-4 Phantom fighter jet pilot, will share information about the F-4 and his Air Force experiences in the cockpit when he speaks at the meeting of the Northern Neck-Middle Peninsula Chapter of the Virginia Aeronautical Society, set for 11:30 a.m. next Thursday, July 20, at the Pilot House Restaurant, Topping.

The exact jet that he flew is on display at the City of Hampton’s outdoor museum Air Power Park on Mercury Boulevard, which was featured in the program at last month’s meeting and showcases aircraft testing and early space exploration history.

The Pilot House is adjacent to Hummel Field Airport on Route 3 in Topping about a mile south of the Norris Bridge over the Rappahannock River.
