The Mathews High School After Prom Committee has a couple of food-related fundraisers coming up soon.

Next Thursday, March 12, the PTSA committee will hold its annual Waiters’ Night program at five county restaurants, with local “celebrities” serving as waiters and waitresses. All tips and donations will go to the MHS After Prom.

Participating restaurants (and celebrities) include: Cobbs Creek Diner (Dr. Karen Ransone and John Persinger), Lynne’s Family Restaurant (Michelle Bell, Tracy Sorey and Donna Adams), Mi Casa Azteca Mexican Restaurant (Wendy Stewart and Angie Ingram), Richardson’s Café (Mitzi Thomas, Jody Hudgins, Albert Green and Alexis Foster) and Seabreeze Restaurant (the Mathews County Sheriff’s Office).
