The Middle Peninsula African-American Genealogical and Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting virtually at 11 a.m. Saturday.

A release said those attending will have the opportunity to share recent genealogical successes and discoveries, as well as roadblocks that they may have encountered in doing family research. They are asked to be prepared to share their personal family research goals for 2023 as well as goals that they may have for MPAAGHS in the coming year.

The notice said that MPAAGHS 2023 dues of $20 are now due and may be paid at paagenealogicalsociety.org, or by sending checks made payable to MPAAGHS to 4114 Tidewater Trail, Jamaica, Va. 23079.
