The Northern Neck-Middle Peninsula chapter of the Virginia Aeronautical Historical Society will hold its monthly luncheon presentation at 11:30 a.m. next Thursday, Sept. 21, at the Pilot House Restaurant, located next to Hummel Field in Topping.

This month’s program will be a video presentation about three crucial World War II fighter planes: the P-38 Lightning, the P-51 Mustang and the British Spitfire.

Everyone interested in aviation is invited to attend and bring a friend. The group meets at 11:30 a.m. on the third Thursday of the month for presentations on a wide variety of civilian and military aviation events and history, along with an all-inclusive price buffet lunch.
