Advent book ‘Home for Christmas’ is available

Gwynn’s Island Baptist Church, as in years gone by, has published and is distributing a free Advent book with daily readings from Dec. 1 through Christmas Day.

Dr. Ed Jordan, pastor, said, “This has been a year of adjustments. With the travel and relational restrictions of the last several years, due to Covid-19, and the current high price of gasoline and other costs, this year seemed to be the perfect time to focus on being home for Christmas.” And that is the book’s title: “Home for Christmas.”

Copies may be obtained at the church’s 10 a.m. Sunday drive-in worship service in the park across from the church at 2011 Old Ferry Road. They may also be obtained by calling 804-725-2384.
