The Baystars FC U12 Admirals shut out the Chesapeake Soccer Club Phoenix, 2-0, on Saturday at the Centerville Soccer Complex in Chesapeake.
Game captain Elton Hudgins Garciatello scored both game goals. The first came on a direct free kick two minutes into the match and the second in the second half with an assist from Parker Mahnke. It marked Garciatello’s sixth goal of the season.
Keepers Chase Lawson and Jonah Marina combined in goal for the shutout. The Admirals take a break from league play this week to compete in the River City Cup Tournament in Richmond.
