ADAM MILES LUTZ

Adam Miles Lutz, 39, of Weyers Cave, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 22, 2017, at his home. 

A son of Yvonne Arlene Whiting Lutz and the late Carl Timothy Lutz, he was born Nov. 15, 1977 in Newport News.

Adam graduated from Gloucester High School in Gloucester, and had resided in the Tidewater area prior to moving to the Shenandoah Valley. He was known for his happy-go-lucky positive view on life and always having a smile.  

Adam was a caring uncle to his niece and nephews, whom he loved dearly and were very important in his life. Adam also had an affinity for animals of all types, especially dogs. He was an individual who was extremely loyal to his friends and family and had a great passion for wrestling, including the WWE and Vanguard Championship Wrestling. He assisted VCW in music production for wrestling events in the Hampton Roads area. In addition, he was a loyal supporter of Spotswood High School athletics, especially the baseball and softball programs. He was regularly found around ballfields in the area where he enjoyed watching his niece and nephew play ball with their friends, whom he loved like his own family.   

In addition to his mother, Adam is survived by his brother, Joshua Lutz and wife Sheri of Weyers Cave; sister, Terri Kendrick and spouse Angie of Winter Haven, Florida; niece, Haileigh Lutz, and nephews, Hayden Lutz, Derek Zeo, and Dillon Zeo.  He is also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends whom he loved unconditionally.

Adam will be laid to rest next to his father and grandparents during a graveside service, conducted by Pastor Peggy Packard, which will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, June 30, 2017, at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg.  

Everyone that knew him is encouraged to attend this celebration of his life.
