Bethany United Methodist Church, Gloucester Point, photo at left, installed Kris Kent as its Children and Youth Ministry Director in a ceremony held on Sunday, Sept. 19. She formerly held the position for several years until August 2019, as well as being the Children Ministry Director for a decade prior. At right, members and friends gathered for an outdoor movie night showing of “Soul Surfer” under the stars on Sept. 25 at Bethany. Attendees could bring a chair or blanket and watch from the lawn or drive up and tune their car radio to hear the movie from inside their car. Bethany plans to host more movie nights in the future.
