Achilles science fair

Achilles Elementary School held its annual science fair Nov. 18 with fifth graders working independently and fourth graders working in teams. Above, from left, are the top fifth grade winners Benjamin Hodgeson, first place; Louis Hogge and Caden White, tied for second, and Pablo Miles, third place. They will advance to the division-wide science fair in January. Below are the top fourth grade winners, front from left, second place: Myles Gibson, Avani Davis, Natalie Bos and Kayla Hall; back row, first place: Josiah Thompson, Isla Hogge, Frances Bucci  and Mia Millet, and third place: Brody Tillage and Camden Hoercher. The projects were judged on the children’s use of the scientific method, by Gloucester High School students Daniel Hook, Andrew Reynolds and Colin Goetz, not pictured.
