Abstract painter to exhibit work at Arts on Main

An opening for “Considerations,” an exhibit by Richmond abstract painter Jim Black, will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, at Arts on Main, Gloucester. The exhibit will be on display until Jan. 28.

Live music for the opening will be provided by Harris Creekers of Hampton. Light refreshments will be served, with beer and wine available for purchase.

Black describes his art as “an ongoing exploration of tension and ambiguity,” said a press release. His pieces are in private and corporate collections across the country.
