The Abingdon Ruritan Club recently made the following donations to local organizations that are helping supply food to the community during the coronavirus pandemic:
Union Baptist Church Food Pantry ($1,000), Bread for Life Community Food Pantry ($1,000), Bay Aging Meals on Wheels ($2,000), American Red Cross ($1,000), Salvation Army ($500), Susanna Wesley UMC Fish & Loaves Food Pantry ($500), Providence Baptist Church for cooking and feeding community ($500), Helping the Homeless Ministry ($500) and the Samaritan Group ($500).
