Area high school students set to graduate 2023, including those who attend private high schools and homeschooled students, are invited to apply for The Robert Pollock Memorial Scholarship.

Offered annually by Abingdon Episcopal Church, this renewable $500 scholarship is available to students who plan to attend a trade school, community college, or a four-year college or university after high school graduation. Preference is given to students who have demonstrated faith-based and community involvement and who have maintained a “B” average or higher.

The application can be found on the Abingdon Church website (Abingdonchurch.org). A paper copy can be obtained from the church office at 4645 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes, Va. 23061.
