Aaron’s Sales & Lease opened its first Gloucester store on Dec. 13. The new store, which will hold a grand opening celebration later this winter, is located at Shops of Gloucester on Route 17 south of the village.

Store manager Tony Galyen of Gloucester, said Aaron’s sells and leases a wide variety of electronics, computers, appliances, furniture and accessories. Among the selection are brands like Frigidaire, LG, HP, Dell, Samsung and Asus.

Aaron’s is a large chain, Galyen said, and makes some of its own furniture that is sold as the Woodhaven Collection. The Atlanta-based company has 17 distribution centers to service more than 2,000 stores throughout the United States and Canada.

The company also offers free delivery and set-up, Galyen said, and has a variety of lease payment plans. Free bottled water and coffee are offered to everyone entering the showroom.
