A wagonload of young people enjoy Bethel Beach

A merry party of young folks fared forth from Port Haywood on Tuesday night bound to the Bethel Bay Shore. An immense wagon especially constructed for such occasions furnished the conveyance and was drawn by three mules and one horse who, outside of occasional digressions, ambled amiably along. The ladies were charming, the night beautiful, the scenery at the beach imposing, the repast delightful and each member of the party feels indebted to their host, Sands Smith Jr., for a most pleasant evening.
